Sarah & Rob's Wedding at the Portico Library & Hotel Gotham
Sarah and Rob got married yesterday during an intimate ceremony at the fabulous Portico Library in Manchester surrounded by thousands of old books, hundreds of wild flowers and most importantly all the people they love the most in the world. Sarah’s beautiful dress was adorned with wild flowers which matched so perfectly with her gorgeous bouquet from the incredibly talented Welshborn Flowers.

Their ceremony was short, sweet and very wonderful. Following the ceremony Sarah’s dad made a heartfelt toast, and the couple cut their gorgeous cake made by The Teatime Collective. Then onto some couples portraits and group shots in the library before heading outside for confetti! There was a lot of confetti (which is obviously the very best way to do confetti…there really is no such thing as too much confetti!!!) Then everyone grabbed a bud vase/cake/other wedding decoration and we headed down the road to Hotel Gotham for wedding breakfast! Sarah, Rob and I managed to squeeze in a few more couple shots in front of Gotham’s many glamorous photo backdrops whilst the guests were enjoying drinks and some beautiful tunes on the piano. I left Sarah and Rob to relax and enjoy their wedding breakfast with their guests and the fantastic views across Manchester 🥰
As a Lancashire wedding photographer, it's stories like these that remind me why I love what I do. The opportunity to capture the unique love stories of couples like Sarah and Rob is a privilege that I cherish and never take for granted.
