FAQ

Where are you based and where do you travel for weddings?

I’m based in Lancashire and photograph weddings across the Ribble Valley, Cheshire and Manchester. I regularly work at venues such as Mitton Hall, Eaves Hall and Browsholme Hall, but I’m always happy to travel further for the right celebration.

How would you describe your wedding photography style?

My approach blends documentary storytelling with gentle editorial guidance. Most of the day is captured naturally as it unfolds, while portraits are softly directed so you always look relaxed and like yourselves.

The result is a collection of images that feel timeless, elegant and true to the atmosphere of the day.

How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?

Most couples book their photographer 12-18 months in advance, particularly for popular Ribble Valley and Cheshire venues. Once you have your venue and date secured it’s always worth checking availability as soon as possible.

Do you photograph weddings at venues you haven’t worked at before?

Absolutely. Every venue is simply a new setting for the same moments. I always arrive early to explore the light, surroundings and best portrait locations so that the photography feels effortless regardless of whether it’s somewhere familiar or somewhere new.

Do you offer engagement or pre-wedding shoots?

Yes, engagement sessions are available as an optional addition. They’re a relaxed way for us to get to know each other before the wedding and for you to become comfortable in front of the camera. Many couples find it makes the wedding day portraits feel much more natural.

How long will it take to receive our wedding photos?

A preview of your wedding is usually shared within a few days, with the full gallery delivered within around 8-10 weeks. Your images are presented in a beautifully designed online gallery where they can be viewed, downloaded and shared with family and friends.

Do you offer wedding albums?

Yes. I offer fine art wedding albums designed to tell the story of your day in a timeless way. They are handcrafted, printed on archival paper and designed to be something you return to for many years.

What areas do you cover as a wedding photographer?

While I’m based in Lancashire, I regularly photograph weddings throughout the Ribble Valley, Cheshire and Manchester, and I’m always happy to travel further across the UK.

I regularly photograph weddings at venues including Mitton Hall, Eaves Hall, Browsholme Hall, Colshaw Hall & Merrydale Manor.
