Jack and Emily got married at Shaw Hill Golf Resort, which is a beautiful hotel situated amid an immaculate golf course in stunning grounds in Chorley, Lancashire. It was a gorgeous day and the sun shone all day long!
The Ceremony
The ceremony was very personal to Jack & Emily, conducted by Lancashire Registration Services in the dining room of Shaw Hill. During the ceremony they read their own vows.
The reception was in the Penina Suite – I really enjoyed working at this venue because the grounds are great for photos. There are so many fantastic locations for photos, from the immaculate golf course, to the beautiful building itself. And if you are lucky enough to get a sunny wedding day, the golden hour and sunset over the golf course is really special, and the light is so pretty.

The Reception
The couple had a drinks reception on the terrace in the afternoon, and a live band in the evening. For dinner they had a slap up meal, and they finished it off with the most epic golden hour photographs! Their first dance was to their favourite song.

Emily wore a huge, shimmery princess gown with blush layers, and Jack wore black tie and they looked really glamorous..
The couple got in touch with me last year, and their enquiry was so fun. They said they wanted a photographer who would be like a guest, and I loved that they just wanted to party with the people who mean the most to them in the world.
