Oh my goodness, my first visit to Ashfield House and I’ve fallen in love! What an absolutely stunning venue. From the moment you catch a glimpse of the house as you emerge from the winding, tree-lined driveway, you get the feeling that this venue is really special. Every turn you take around the venue, there is something fabulous and quirky to see! It really does have the wow factor. At the same time it feels like you’re at your friend’s (really really fancy!) homely house.

Michelle & Tom's wedding at Ashfield House
Tom & Michelle tied the knot in front of all their friends and family on a gloriously warm and sunny May day. Michelle looked absolutely incredible in her wedding dress. Tom and the boys scrubbed up well too! The girls made use of the quirky ‘sitting room’ in the house to have their hair and make up done by the super talented Greta Mikki Make Up and Hair Creations North West.
The Ceremony
Their beautiful ceremony took place in the Ceremony Room. After being covered in confetti by their friends and family, onto a drinks reception in the garden with delicious canapés and singing and guitar from Daniel Rosenblume.
Ashfield House Wedding Photos
Afterwards, we headed off for some photos around the grounds, however as the sun was so bright and there was little cloud cover we decided to head back out to finish off our couples session during the golden hour later on. After being treated to one of the best wedding meals I’ve possibly ever tasted (the food at Ashfield House is seriously on another level!), the speeches were brilliant – full of laughter and emotion.
Because it was a beautiful day, our fingers were crossed for some gorgeous golden light around sunset and we were not disappointed! Shortly before first dance we headed back out for 15 minutes in the golden hour. There are so many beautiful backdrops for couples photos at Ashfield House, from the lawn, to the beautiful florals to the lane, to the house itself.
The Reception
Finally we headed back inside to cut the cake and for the couple’s first dance. Little Lions provided the evening entertainment, and DFC DJ-ing. Little Lions were awesome and the dance floor was packed. Undoubtedly the perfect end to a wonderful day.
