Hi there, I’m Rebecca.

I love photography and I photograph love.
I love to laugh. A lot. And often too loud.
I am a hopeless romantic and I believe in happily ever after.
I don’t think there is anything better than cuddling up with the one you love at the end of a long day.
I have a BSc (Hons) in Biology.
I love animals – most especially dogs.
I love summer the most, but if it was hot all year I would miss the snow.
I’m a qualified accountant. I’m good at it…but there has always been a voice telling me I was missing out on something..
I couldn’t be happier than when I’m taking photos.
I’ve had 3 of my images published in an international photography magazine. They are at the bottom of this page.
I don’t take myself seriously.
I’m currently based in Manchester, but have close links with Birmingham and the Lake District. I like to travel.
I love a good curry, and I could eat sushi every day.
I love an ice cold beer on a hot day.
I appreciate good coffee.
I never say no to Ben and Jerry’s.
I like to run to combat the effects of the above.
I’ve completed a half marathon in 2 hours (just).
People watching could keep me entertained for hours.
I love roaring log fires and snuggling up by them.
I make sure absolutely no-one is listening before I try to sing. Karaoke is my idea of a nightmare.
I play the oboe and have played a solo to an audience of 1,500 people. This is quite possibly the single most terrifying moment of my life.
My favourite colour would be pink.
I can raise one eyebrow on cue. I’ve not come across many others with this talent..
I’m a total child at heart.
I want to drive across America from coast to coast. And do some Man vs Food style eating challenges along the way!
I love the sea – swimming in it, listening to it, watching it. It mesmerises me.
I’d love to swim with dolphins one day.
I hate tomatoes.
I find the smell of blown out candles intoxicating
I cry when I’m happy, sad and angry. I’ve cried at every wedding I’ve ever been to.
I’ve climbed the highest mountains in Scotland and Wales both on the same day. I was supposed to climb the highest mountain in England too, but that’s another story. At the moment the photograph above was taken, I was the highest person in the UK.
I’d love to see the Earth from Space.
I wish my parents lived closer.
I’m a perfectionist.
I believe the little things are the big things.
I can offer you the chance to freeze time and capture a moment forever.
I want to make people laugh, cry and capture in photographs what their lives are all about.
I believe a good photographer doesn’t just take photographs. They are a storyteller. They are able to see and capture all the moments that make up that story and can make even the most ordinary moments, extraordinary. Everyone has a story. How will yours be remembered?
I’m glad you stopped by.

Yours Truly,

Rebecca
